This is something that really solidifies my anti-theistic tendencies. I'm actually part of a small family, and that precious bit of communion I could have had was destroyed by a religion that polluted my mothers mind into believing somehow she is going somewhere better than me because of choices she has made. Even if the system she has become a part of condemns her son to eternal suffering, she would rather stand in heaven and say, "Sorry son, you had a choice.", rather than "Fu$k this God, I will take part in the suffering with my son! This is no system I would like to be a part of!"
